KEN-TON SEPTSA’s 2010 SCHOLARSHIPS

Ken-Ton Special Education Parent Teacher Student Association (SEPTSA) recognizes the accomplishments of students with special needs and offers scholarships to assist them in their educational and/or vocational training plans for the future.

Purpose: The purpose of these scholarships is to acknowledge and support the advancement of individuals who have been classified by the Committee on Special Education. This assistance may be used for fees, supplies, uniforms, or other items which promote further educational and/or vocational training.

Awards: Two (2) $200.00 awards will be given to 2010 graduates.

Basis: Each award will be based upon the student’s:

· Residency in Ken-Ton

· Plans for continuing education or training

· Commitment to academic success

· Application responses

Apply: To apply for the scholarship:

· Complete the information below and the application on the next page

· Attach a letter of recommendation from a current instructor

Deadline: All materials must be postmarked by April 3^rd, 2010
