The 2010 Ken-Ton SEPTSA Outstanding Community Organization Award
Purpose of the Award: The 2010 Ken-Ton SEPTSA Outstanding Community OrganizationAward is an honor available to recognize a WNY Community Organization that goes above and beyond to assist children with special needs and their families in Ken-Ton and all across Western New York.
Who may be nominated: A nominee for the 2010 Ken-Ton SEPTSA Outstanding Community Organization Award can be any organization in Western New York that has displayed distinguished service and outstanding dedication to special needs children and their families.
Requirements for nomination:
· The person nominating an organization must be a Ken-Ton SEPTSA member.
· Nominator must fill out the information below.
· Nominator must also provide a written statement describing why the nominated organization should receive this award.
· Nominated organization must provide services (i.e. equipment, information, service coordination, etc.) to special needs children and their families.
Approval of Award: Nominations must be submitted to the Ken-Ton SEPTSA’s Board and Membership for approval by May 1st, 2010. Award decisions will be made at the May Ken-Ton SEPTSA board meeting and winners will be notified on or about June 1st, 2010.
Award: Awardees receive a framed certificate, a one calendar year Ken-Ton SEPTSA membership, website recognition and must agree to participate in a Ken-Ton SEPTSA event.
Presentation of Award: The 2010 Ken-Ton SEPTSA Outstanding Community Organization Award will be presented at the discretion of the Ken-Ton SEPTSA board. The award may be presented at a Ken-Ton SEPTSA event. In addition, a presentation may be made at the first Ken-Ton SEPTSA meeting of the 2010-2011 school year.
